Shri. Pratip Chaudhuri, Chairman

Born on 12th September 1953, Shri. Chaudhuri joined State Bank of India as a Probationary Officer in the year 1974. Immediately prior to taking over as Chairman, Shri. Chaudhuri was Dy. Managing Director (International Banking Group), State Bank of India.During his tenure of 37 years in State Bank of India, Shri. Chaudhuri has held a number of important positions, including those of Dy. Managing Director (IBG), Chief General Manager (Foreign Offices), Chief General Manger of Chennai Circle and General Manager (Mid Corporate Group). Shri. Chaudhuri also headed State Bank of Saurashtra, and piloted its merger with State Bank of India.

Prof. T. T. Rammohan, Director

Born on 28th Jan 1956, Prof. T.T.Ram Mohan, before entering into academics, has worked extensively in consultancy and in the financial sector in India and abroad. He has carried out policy studies for Government and International agencies including the World Bank. As a financial journalist, he was New York correspondent for Economic Times, Economics Correspondent for India Abroad (New York) and Contributing Editor (South Asia) with the Financial Times of London's International Reports. His current research interests include banking sector reforms, privatization and corporate governance. Dr. Ram Mohan is a Professor at IIM, Ahmedabad.

Ms. Susan Thomas, Director

Born on 30th July 1966, with B.Tech in Civil Engineering from IIT Mumbai and Ph.D. in Economics from University of Southern California is working as Assistant Professor with Indira Gandhi Institute of Development Research since May 1996. She has contributed many articles and published working papers on Financial Matters. She has to her credit lot of research projects on Financial Markets.

Shri. Mayur Kisnadwala, Director

Born on 23rd September 1957, is a qualified Chartered Accountant and a retired senior lecturer from Chetana's Hazarimal Somani College of Commerce & Economics, Mumbai. With his rich experience in auditing, tax practice, imparting knowledge and participation in national & international conferences has authored various books and articles of professional interest including books on Accountancy and Taxation for Bachelors Degree in Commerce curriculum. He is an active member of Bombay Chartered Accountants Society and is a member of Taxation Committee and convener of Direct Tax Study Circle. Presently he is working with the Chartered Accountants firm Vatsaraj & Co. as Senior Partner and is also a visiting faculty at Principal Welingkar Institute of Management Development & Research and Jamnalal Bajaj Institute of Management Studies, Mumbai.

Shri Shyamal Acharya, Director

Born on 26th August, 1954 Shri. Shyamal Acharya joined State Bank of India as a Probationary Officer in the year 1976. Immediately prior to taking over as Deputy Managing Director & Group Executive (A&S), Shri. Shyamal Acharya was Dy. Managing Director & Group Executive (Mid Corporate Group), State Bank of India.

Shri. Biswajit Mohanty MD & CEO

A career banker with over three decades of sound commercial experience in the State Bank of India, Shri Mohanty's qualifications include a Post Graduate degree in Economics from the Delhi School of Economics supplemented by professional training in the areas of Corporate Banking, Project Finance, Treasury Management and Risk Management. Before taking up his current assignment, he has led business development and P&L management with full administrative responsibility in Corporate Treasury, Corporate Credit, Risk Management and Internal Risk Focussed & Credit Audit functions of the Bank.
